NEWTON, Mass., Feb. 5, 2008 – A financial advisor at Telamon Insurance & Financial Network has been ranked among the top five retirement advisors in the country by the premier monthly publication for the pension industry.  Jim Sampson, Telamon’s Director of Retirement Services, was named a finalist for PLANSPONSOR Magazine’s annual Retirement Plan Adviser of the Year award. Sampson, 35, of Marshfield, Mass, was recently selected by an expert panel of judges from a list of semifinalists, based on interviews with plan sponsor clients.

The magazine, which will announce the winner in April, launched the award in 2005 to “recognize the contributions of the nation’s best financial advisers in helping make retirement security a reality for all workers.” This year’s finalists were drawn from a pool of 332 nominations representing more than 200 advisers.

Sampson, who has been the 401(k) specialist at Telamon for nearly five years, has earned the trust of his clients for his deep knowledge and expertise in retirement-savings vehicles.
