Company History

Telamon Insurance & Financial Network encompasses five distinctive

divisions, serving as a comprehensive network.  The Telamon Network

consists of Marketing Associates Insurance Agency, Surplus Services

Insurance Agency, Marketing Associates Financial Services &

Insurance Agency, Telamon Technical Services LLC, and Select

Financial Group.  Together these companies encompass a variety of

specialty and traditional insurances, including Wholesale, Retail Property and

Casualty, Retail and Wholesale Financial Services, and Employee Benefits. 

1.  Marketing Associates Insurance Agency, Inc.

Marketing Associates Insurance Agency is the retail property and casualty agency within Telamon. 

As part of Telamon Insurance & Financial Network, Marketing Associates Insurance Agency offers its

clients a complete array of commercial and personal lines products.  Marketing Associates Insurance

Agency has a "niche focused" team, appealing to a broad range of clientele.

2.  Surplus Services Insurance Agency, Inc. 

Surplus Services Insurance Agency is an open broker network geared to offer independent insurance

agencies access to the SSI carriers, for commercial and personal lines.  SSI represents national companies

such as Chubb, CNA, St. Paul/Travelers, Hartford, and Zurich.  Surplus Services Insurance Agency also

works with regional carriers such as Arbella and Fireman’s Fund, among others.

3.  Marketing Associates Financial Services & Insurance Agency, Inc. 

Marketing Associates Financial Services & Insurance Agency is a retail and wholesale agency that offers

a full range of financial services and employee benefits products to large corporations, small businesses,

not for profits and individuals.  MAFS products include life, disability, long-term care insurance, executive

compensation plans, 401(k), 403(b), estate planning, college planning and health savings accounts.

Their services include plan design, implementation, education, and on-going client advocacy.

4.  Telamon Technical Services, LLC

Telamon Technical Services, LLC provides loss control, inspection and building valuation services to

Marketing Associates Insurance Agency and Surplus Services Insurance Agency, clients as

well as to other insurance carriers and brokers.  Telamon Technical Services specializes in

long-term care, social services, and habitational risks.
 

5.  Select Financial Group

Select Financial Group is also a retail property and casualty agency, making it similar to Marketing

Associates Insurance Agency.  Select Financial has focused primarily on personal lines prior to joining

the Telamon Insurance & Financial Network.  Located in Holliston, Massachusetts and conducive to

walk-in traffic, Select Financial Group offers its clients a complete array of commercial and personal lines

products in a very customer focused environment.  Select Financial Group also focuses on Financial Service.
