Mike currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of the Telamon Insurance & Financial Network, and remains the sole owner of his agencies. After graduating from college, Mike immediately entered the insurance industry. His first job was with the Travelers Insurance Company. Twenty-two years later, after holding such positions as Commercial Lines Manager, Marketing Manager, Claims Manager, President, COO, CFO, and CEO of a large local insurance agency, he decided to venture out on his own in order to establish a multi-dimensional insurance entity, one that would provide a full range of products to both brokers and insureds with an emphasis on customer service. Mike combined Surplus Services Insurance Agency, which he originally founded in 1975, along with Marketing Associates Insurance Agency born in 1981.  Mike accomplished his first goal in the formation of a comprehensive client network.

Greg M. Susco - Vice President
Drawing daily from his extensive corporate experience, Gregory M. Susco takes the extra time needed to craft the exact coverage required for his clients, helping them manage risk and control costs to reduce unnecessary insurance expenses. Greg joined the Telamon team in 2002 as a Senior Sales Executive and within a year was moved into the position of IT Director. Greg brought a wealth of sales and IT experience to the company, developing a 5 year IT strategy and directing and managing its execution.  In the role of Vice President since 2004, Greg’s focus on strategy allows Telamon to provide its clients with a single-source solution, customized for their unique insurance needs. In his spare time, when not collaborating with Telamon’s Board of Directors, Greg serves on the Board of the Phoenix Charter Academy. He received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Vermont and is a member of the Young Entrepreneurs’ Organization. Greg currently resides in downtown Boston.

Jill joined Telamon in 2003 as Director of New Business Development. She now serves as Sr. VP of Business Development, where she is responsible for managing the relationships with Telamon’s property & casualty carriers in combination with the requirements of our brokers & producers. Jill plays a large role in assisting with management of Telamon Surplus Services and premium development of that unit. Her success has come from her strong ability to develop business opportunities with new brokers, while maintaining deep business relationships with existing broker clientele. Prior to Telamon, she has served as President at GBT Insurance Agency. Jill Gold brings over 20 years of insurance agency experience to Telamon.

 Diane Sheedy – Executive Vice President

In the spring of 1993, Diane recognized the vision that Michael J. Susco had about the creation of Telamon Insurance & Financial Network, and joined him as the Operations Manager of the newly formed Network.  She began her career in the insurance industry in 1977 working for Michael at another large local insurance agency with a concentration in the accounting area.  As the Network grew from the original eleven employees that Michael brought with him from the former agency, Diane assumed different roles within the organization.  Over the years, Diane has done underwriting, auditing, accounting, work flow analysis, and IT work.  She is currently a member of the Board of Directors, the Manager of the Accounting and Administrative Staff, and she co-manages the Surplus Services Division of the Network.    Designation: Associate in Automation Management.

John Snyder – President, Employee Benefits Division

As the President of the Employee Benefits Division, and a member of the Board of Directors for Telamon Human Capital Resource Group, LLC  John brings more than 18 years of experience to Telamon in the employee benefits and human resources industries.  John is an expert in strategic benefit design, carrier negotiation, alternative funding methods, employee communication options and HR technology solutions.   Prior to joining Telamon John was President and founder of HCR Group, Inc, an Employee Benefits and Human Resources Consulting firm.  His past experience also includes UNUMProvident, Sun Life Financial, and HR Logic, a Fidelity Investments-owned HR outsourcing company.  John holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and is an active member of the National Health Underwriters where he works closely with other industry leaders to stay on the front lines of news and information. He has completed the Steinberg leadership program for the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and is involved with outreach programs within the community.
